“He (Jesus) was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5, New International Bible
Let me introduce you to the woman in the picture above. She is a woman on a mission and her name is Emma Jean Hurst – whom many of us lovingly call, “Jeanie”. She is the fun-loving Aunt of my husband, Michael. Jeanie is the kind of person who makes you feel at home the moment you meet her. She embraces life with her whole heart and is a joy to be around. Her love for Jesus pours out from her very being whether His name is mentioned or not.
A little over a year ago, Jeanie was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (a rare brain tumor). However, Jeanie and her family decided to believe God for a miracle. Mike and I made a special trip to Maryland to spend Thanksgiving with his family that year in Jeanie’s beautiful new home. While the food was wonderful and visiting with relatives was a delight, spending time alone with Jeanie was the highlight of our trip. The three of us sat down at a local restaurant and enjoyed a bowl of Maryland she-crab soup and Jeanie gave us a tour of the town. But, before we went home, Jeanie requested that we drive to her church. As we approached this historic Episcopal Church, Jeanie marched ahead of us and disappeared through the sanctuary doors. She was a woman on a mission and we knew better than to get in her way. She knelt down at the altar and began to sing praises to God. She exalted His name through song and lifted her hands in praise to her Lord and Savior. Mike and I both began to cry as we saw this precious sight.
It wasn’t but a few months later that she was given a clean bill of health! However, she is now battling once again. Jeanie and our family believe God will heal her. It will take a miracle. It will take our Jesus.
Jesus was wounded so that anyone sick in body would be healed. The truth is that Jeanie’s future is secure and a heavenly one. Let me ask you a question. It is a question that is burning in Jeanie’s heart. Do you know Jesus? Is your future secure? Jesus is willing and able to meet you right where you are today.
Prayer:
“Lord, I come into agreement with all those who are sick in body this day. Touch each one with Your healing power. Most of all Lord, I want to know you as Lord and Savior. I want to spend all of eternity with You in Heaven. I give you my life and ask that you forgive me of all my sins. I am now yours Lord – use my life to bring people to You!” Amen.
Would you do something to encourage Jeanie today? Click on the “comments” button below and share a word of encouragement with Jeanie. Let her know that you are standing in faith with her today.
Jeanie – I am standing in faith with you. The Name of Jesus is above every name. The name of this rare brain tumor must bow it’s knee at the Name of Jesus Christ. You are dearly loved by us all! We pray that all the comments below bring encouragement to you and your loved ones as you stand in faith belief for your total healing!
Love,
Tracy Hurst

Do not be anxious about anything but in prayer bring everything to God, and then rejoice with thanksgiving. Jeanie, I am rejoicing with you in your recovery because we already know that our Loving Father has already healed you. So, thank you Lord Jesus for your loving touch on Jeanie. I praise you Lord and give you the glory for ever and ever more.
love,

Jeannie,
Tracy and I are believing for a complete recovery for you for the Glory of God to be revealed to unbelievers. I was just reading in Psalm 103 this am and read the promise in verse 3: “… who heals all your diseases.” My Jesus is so loving that He hung on a cross to take away all the diseases that satan tries to put on us. I am so proud to be the nephew of such a strong woman of faith. I love you and I am expectant and excited to see what the Lord is going to do through all of this. He says He will work all things together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose. He is TRUTH so He can never go back on a promise.
Love, Michael Hurst
Jeannie… You are a woman God delights in. He is singing over you with songs of rejoicing (Zeph 3:17). His songs are healing songs, happy songs, songs of pure love. Continue to be washed in His presence as often as you are able. I pray you’ll never be without comfort and courage. I am inspired by you!
First off I need to say, oddly enough., one of the greatest influences of my faith, as well as my husband’s, my sister’s. and brother in law’s, was my husband’s aunt Emma Jean Thornton-Alberts .
She was always full of light, the love of Jesus and she always had grace oozing from her. She was everything your Emma Jean has been described as, and who I have often told Tracy she often reminds me of. We called her Emmie.
Jeannie, delight yourself in his worship just as you have already done. God said He would draw close to those who draw close to Him. I will pray and believe for your
healing. As I know others are going too.
Thank you for your faithfulness and example of God’s love. It is such a heritage to have when your family says such great things about you.
“Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.”
(Proverbs 31: 25; 28-29)
Jeannie, I stand with you for total recovery. I pray that you come out of this feeling better than you ever have. Jesus has taken every curse for you. He has already bore this brain tumor for you. It is not yours to bare. Trust in Him and believe that He wants you 100% well. I pray He give you all the comfort and courage you need to resist this. I know you are spreading His light wherever you go. Obviously, God is not done with you on earth yet. He promises us long life on earth. Ask and believe for the long life Jesus died to give you. I am sorry the enemy has attacked you in this way. Stand strong my sister and let the Lord fight the battle.
In His Love,
Kelly Porter
A continual affirmation of God’s Word in faith, as you give voice and decree and proclaim outloud releases the supernatural power and anointing of His Holy Spirit. “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28 Praise God! His Word is LIFE. It is HEALTH. Healing can be received through God’s Word. Receive God’s Word for healing precious one. GOD’S WORD MADE FLESH. You have such great faith. When you speak God’s Word from your heart as you have done, your faith gives substance to things hoped for, God’s promises, and your words become reality. And He receives all power, honor and glory. I love Jesus’ words to the woman that had great faith and touched the hem of His garment. “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole.” Mark 5:34
Hello Jeanie: I am Tracy’s mom and I am enclosing an excerpt from my local South Carolina paper. I stand in faith with you that your miraculous healing is happening right now! As in the true story below, your room in the heavenly mansion is not yet ready! God Bless you.

“Willie Joyner has been on a strange journey for the past few months.
First, he nearly died in October when he crashed into a lake in Oldfield, where he is a security guard.
But he was saved by three men.
Then he remembers a spirit leading him on a tour of what he believed to be God’s golden mansion, endless rooms lining a long corridor.
But he was told his room wasn’t ready yet.
Next thing Joyner remembers, his eyes are open for the first time in two weeks and he’s in a hospital room in Savannah. Awestruck doctors who had given him a bleak prognosis stand over him.
Joyner had spent at least eight minutes trapped underwater in his patrol truck. His brain had been without oxygen for far too long.
Now Joyner is mostly recovered and thankful. He has only one word to describe it all: miracle”.
I don’t know you, but you sound like a woman who walks in the strength of the Lord! I want to encourage you to hold onto that which you already have. According to Isaiah 53:4-5, Matt 8:16-17, and I Peter 2:24, Jesus already bore your every sickness, weakness, disease, and pain. It is your covenant right as a child of God to receive the healing that He has already paid for, just like you receive forgiveness for the sins that He already paid for. God’s Word can never fail us if we refuse to let go of it! He says to you, “Daughter, you were already healed 2000 years ago at the cross. Don’t be afraid, only believe.” The enemy tries to deceive us into thinking we have no defense, but it is a lie. Meditate on the scriptures that proclaim your health in the Bible and then confess that healing belongs to you…I will stand with you in total agreement for the manifestation! There’s no distance in prayer.
Love In Christ,
Mary Beth in Atlanta
Jeannie:
I am Tracy’s Aunt Kaye, and I stand with you for complete healing. We serve a God of miracles and I am believing with you for another miracle of healing for you. Our family knows first hand about miracles and what a mighty God we serve. Know that many are praying and believing on your behalf. God is Good All the Time; All the Time God is Good!

Hi, Jeannie:
Just wanted to encourage you to keep standing in faith. The darkest hour is just before dawn! That’s the hour when Satan counts on you giving up. BUT GOD has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you. You are His! You’ve been marked by His blood! Your healing has already been paid for!
You’re not alone! We’re standing with you!

Jeanie,
Daddy, Marie, Martin and I are praying for you daily. Your constant and never failing faith in Christ is an inspiration to us all! We believe you are being healed every day. We “believe” By His Strips We Are Healed.
We love you. 🙂
Nancy
Jeanie,
Your name means God is Gracious and it also means Gifted. The verse that is listed with your name is 2 Chronicles 1:12. Wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and weallth and honor.
Father right now we stand in the gap for Jeanie. You are Jehovah Rophe, our Healer. You are magnificent, the Great I Am. We pray in the Name of Jesus, the Name above all other Names and ask for the gift of precious healing for our sister Jeanie. Father we ask that you would pour the oil of Gilead over her head right now and let it flow down from her head and neck, down her shoulders and into the very recesses of her being. Continue to flow down her back and through her arms and down her legs and even to the ends of her toes. Bless her Lord even now and pour Your love into her and surround her with Your Glory. Continue to spring forth from her belly springs of living water. We praise you and thank you Jesus for great and mighty things you have done!
Blessings Jeanie,
Janis Smith
EJ I am thrilled that you are the focus of this email. I knew the meaning of that stained glass window for you from the beginning and will save this picture of you standing before it. You are an inspiration to so many already and now more will hear and be lifting you up to Jesus, who heals all our diseases. I love you and am trusting Him to heal you, comfort you, bring you peace and meet every need. See you soon! Sandy
Hello my “Jeannie with the light brown hair”,we have known each other since our teenage years (so long ago). You were in my wedding and I in yours. The years and distance happened. I was devestated when Gary emailed me about your health issues. “Why Lord?,I asked” Last week our section of Florida was slammed with tornados. One of the structures destroyed was a Church of God. When the parishners ask that question of their pastor, his reply was “Why not ?” Then he proceeded to give a glorious testimony to the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that went out on local and national television. We don’t always know why bad things happen to good people…but God does ! He will lift you up and bring praise and glory to Himself, which is why we are here on earth in the first place.
Jeannie, don’t you dare give up ! God has given you a time to regroup, “Nessle don’t wrestle” as Corrie ten Boom said. He is exceedingly able to heal the tumor, the shunt , the broken ankle and all the rest. Listen to His quite still voice within you, and do all that He commands you to do.
I am praying for you , as is the prayer chain at my church. Our God is able to heal every cell, organ, and bodily function within you.
I love you kiddo – but God loves you more !
You sister in Christ,
Linda Lee Spain Haworth

IT SAYS IN MATTHEW “ANY PLANT THAT MY FATHER DIDN’T PLANT WILL BE PULLED OUT BY THE ROOTS.” SO EXPECT A SPRING UPROOTING FROM FATHER.
WITH LOVE AND PRAYERS AND ADMIRATION,

Jeannie and I have been friends for 18 years, we call ourselves lordy sisters. I first met Jeannie at a bible study after a tragic accident took our 2 children. Jeannie’s love, smile, encouragement and faith in God help to pull me through and taught me how to hold onto God and to believe that he would do the impossible for me.
Jeannie, I am standing with you today and everyday. Believing in the love of Jesus to heal you completely. Your unwavering faith and love of Jesus is inspirational to all who are blessed to know you and to the many who get to know you through the love and prayers of others.
In His Love, your Lordy Sister, Cathi
PS Your Lordy Sister Caroline is praying for you in heaven!

Jeanie,
The Lord carried me through cancer 5 years ago. Yesterday, Blue Cross and Blue Shield accepted my health insurance. Isn’t God good.
You will be in my prayers. I stand on that scripture….”In Him we live and move and have our being.”

He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; …
God created you to be WHOLE…
Love you with and everlasting love!
