We’re so excited to be back for this spring session! We are diving into spiritual warfare over the next six weeks, so get your notepads ready, your headphones on and settle in!
In this first episode, Tracy leads into discussion on what even is spiritual warfare? She defines it, gives us scripture to help explain it, and gives us key ways to identify we might be facing it.
In the coming weeks, we’ll look at sneaky ways we might be experiencing warfare without realizing it, how to use our authority in Christ to fight it, and ways we experience warfare in our homes. We hope these episodes leave you feeling encouraged, strengthened and ready to be victorious! Because here is the good news: We fight FROM victory, not FOR victory.
THIS WEEK’S VERSES:
“Submit yourselves then to God, Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you.” (John 4:7-8)
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walkers about, seeking whom he may devour; whom you are to RESIST, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same affections are accomplished in your brethren that in the world.” (1 Peter 5:9)
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-6)
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)
